Hey Psychology Students!
One last message from your psychology teacher before I embark on a great experiment in child development (don't worry, Genie's not my inspiration). First, the business. All of your grades are fully updated in Infinite Campus. Arava will NOT be going back to retroactively change any grades or fill in missing assignments, so please don't ask. If you did not turn in your Genie assignment before I went out on leave, too bad! You had all week the week before Osprey Week to work on that assignment in class, plus an additional weekend. Work hard for Arava and turn in all your assignments. Arava will not be updating this DP- she will be communicating with you via email regarding class activities and homework, so CHECK YOUR EMAIL! It has been a pleasure teaching you guys this year- thanks for bearing with me as I learned alongside you! I hope that you found the content at least a little thought provoking. See you all at graduation! Lori

Hey all, given where seniors are at right now, I'm going to skip the seminar, and just give you your writing prompts for the book.

Finish the book by TUESDAY at the start of class. Hey all--I'm out today to grade senior theses (it never ends!). I will see you all on Thursday, when we'll do another check in for understanding before moving to the next chunk of the book.
Reading Goal: Read through chapter 19 by the start of class on Thursday. HOMEWORK: Finish reading through chapter 19 by the start of class on Thursday. Today's Goal:
To clarify confusions and make sure we're all on the same page with what's going on in Genie. Group Summaries: Get into a group of 3-4. Everyone should have something to take notes on, but don't let your screen make you passive! Go through chapter by chapter, and make sure to discuss what happened in that chapter, and any places you found confusing or hard to understand. For each chapter you should have in your notes:
Ask Lori: Now, as a class, lets go through chapter by chapter and I'll try to clear up any confusions. HOMEWORK: Read through the end of chapter 19 by THURSDAY. You will have all day in class tomorrow (Tuesday) to read. Reading Goal:
Read and annotate/take notes through the end of Chapter 11. If you don't finish it in class, you MUST finish by MONDAY! We will check in on Monday to clear up misunderstandings/confusions, so if you have questions or places you don't understand, write them down and we'll review them! Genie: A Scientific Tragedy
